Significant Factors Contributing to Accidents Occurrence on Construction Site

This paper aims to determine the significant factors contributing construction site accidents in Malaysian industry. As party who carry out work on site, perception of Grade G7 contractors was gathered using questionnaire surveys. The 155 responses were obtained and analysed descriptive analysis. result reveals that there nine (9) causing namely lack training, safety culture, regular inspection for material machinery, measurement condition, meeting or toolbox meeting, personal protective equipment (PPE), supervision by supervisor charge, communication between manager workers attitudes workers. findings this study are crucial must be put more concerned reduce occurrence improve performance Malaysia. Adequate planning activities, investment consciousness should major concern contractor needed done constantly till zero-accident is realised every site.
